I recently rang in the New Year at the St Crispin Inn, and it was quite the charming experience. Picture this: a cozy room with all the essentials, including a flat-screen TV and an electric kettle, but nestled just beside a lively beer garden-it had that inviting pub vibe. I shared this adventure with a couple of mates, and the friendly staff really added a personal touch, especially when serving up the delightful evening specials; I just couldn't resist going back for that heavenly pan-roasted pork chop! While breakfast felt slightly limited-more fried food than I would've liked-everything was beautifully cooked, even if we were a tad late to the table.
